At Leasétic, we firmly believe that technology can be a driver of positive change, especially when used responsibly and for social good. It is in this spirit that we recently donated our computers to the École du Monde association in Madagascar, as part of a humanitarian project that embodies our values of sustainability and social responsibility.
A humanitarian project bringing hope
Last summer, our team embarked on a humanitarian project in Madagascar, aiming to give our IT equipment a second life. These computers, which could have been recycled, were repurposed to enrich the education of local students, allowing them to discover computing and robotics.
From Discovery to Excellence: The Inspiring Story of Tafita
Thanks to these computers, students were able to learn about programming and robotics, particularly by working with bluebot robots. Among them, Tafita, a talented student, successfully qualified to represent Madagascar at a global robotics competition in Panama. His journey is living proof of the impact that access to technology can have on the future of young people.
The Tangible Impact of Digital Solidarity
This initiative perfectly illustrates our commitment to sustainable and socially responsible IT:
Our Values in Action
At Leasétic, we are committed to reducing the ecological footprint of our equipment while promoting their reuse and maximizing their value. By donating our computers, we contribute to the reduction of electronic waste and the democratization of access to technology.
Towards New Projects
Tafita's story inspires us to continue our solidarity efforts. It reminds us that a simple gesture can have extraordinary repercussions and that technology, when shared, becomes a powerful lever for equal opportunities.
We will closely follow Tafita's journey at the global competition and hope that his example will inspire other young people to develop a passion for science and technology.
Well done to the entire team who made this project possible and congratulations to Tafita for this outstanding qualification!
